I'm half Welsh, half South African.
My mother was a Senior social worker,
my father, a Freedom Fighter.
I think that makes sense to who I am,
and what motivates me.
I use research and my own experience
as an internal reference point of 'truth'
in various relatable circumstances but try
not to centre the work around myself,
or make it for myself.
Some of the more challenging experiences
I've lived through have heightened my awareness
of inequalities and injustices, and how much of
a problem we still have with bullies and bullying,
which come in so many different forms.

I've an enduring interest in neuroscience and behavioural
psychology, along with both societal structures that
fragment identities and Social Enterprises and Community
Interest Companies that endeavour to rebuild
them.
